High Speed Box Barcode Printing in Commercial Print Applications
Printervention Episode 11
Welcome to another episode of Printervention. A video series we are doing here at InkJet, Inc. to help customers and future customers with their marking and coding needs.
Case Coding is a process that most manufacturers have been using for years. The facility will often add a barcode, logo, or several lines of alpha-numeric text as customer requirements change. A facility may already have a system in place that meets the specifications, but it may still cause headaches with operators, leaking ink or break maintenance budgets with excessive consumables. The common solution is to switch from one technology to another, such as a high-resolution printer to a thermal inkjet printer. We have trained Print Solution Managers who can assist you with these types of projects where small details can make a big difference. This specific customer decided the Anser X-1 Printer fit all the specifications with the flexibility to print 2 inch print height and did not leave ink on the floor, or conveyor.
