OS495 was originally developed to mark on eggshells, both white and brown. This ink can also be used to create images on United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) specified foods such as cones, soft candies, pills and on packaging that may come in contact with food. The OS495 ink is manufactured in accordance with the US FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This ink can be used in applications where Videojet's V495-D is being used. This ink is a direct replacement for V495-D, hence no flush is required.
