OS411 is a black MEK-based, specialty ink formulated to have superior adhesion to plastics. This fast-drying ink is specifically designed for coding on flexible packaging films typically used in the tobacco and food packaging industries. Other typical applications for this ink include: metal, glass, plastics, and applications where oils may be present on the substrate surfaces. In addition, OS411 has a very fast dry time of 1 second. This ink can also withstand a 30 minute retort process.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

The OS411 ink has a shelf life of 18 months from date of manufacture when stored at a temperature range of +35oF to +95oF (+2oC to +35oC). Prolonged exposure to temperatures outside these limits will shorten the ink shelf life. If there is a possibility that the ink has been frozen during shipping, bring to room temperature (+70oF to +75oF or 21oC to +24oC) and shake well before using this ink.
