Changeover procedure

OS469 does not require an ink changeover procedure. OS469 can be piggybacked directly into a Videojet printer using V469-D.

Benefits

  • Provides superior printing and excellent adhesion to polyethylene and polypropylene substrates found in food industry especially Tetra Pak.
  • Environmentally friendly; MEK and methanol free.
  • Low VOC ink
  • Dry time is typically at 0.5-1.5 seconds depending on the ambient conditions and substrate.

Shelf-life & Ink Storage

OS469 has a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture when stored at a temperature range of +35oF to +95oF (+2oC to +35oC).  Prolonged exposures to temperatures outside these limits will shorten the ink shelf life. If there is a possibility that the ink has been frozen during shipping, bring to room temperature (+70oF to +75oF or 21oC to +24oC) and shake before using.

Applications

OS469 ink is suitable for coding onto plastics, metal, paper, wood, and glass.
