How to Clean the Evolabel T43 & T63

Evolabel printhead and print roll cleaning:

It is recommended to clean your Evolabel Printhead with every ribbon change to maximize print quality and printhead life.

  • Open the printhead by turning handle to open position

  • WARNING; Printhead may be hot if recently used

  • Pull ribbon aside if used

  • Use isopropyl to wipe back and forth across entire printhead widths with enough pressure to remove residue, however not enough to damage heating elements.

  • Move ribbon back into position when finished

It is recommended to clean your Evolabel print roller with every label change

  • Open the printhead by turning handle to open position

  • Remove label/liner

  • Use isopropyl wipe to wipe back and forth across roller with enough pressure to remove residue while turning it by hand.

  • Move labels back into position and close printhead
